Hello! I am Mrs. Bakken and I am in my third year teaching at Grygla High School. I graduated from GMR High School and attended college at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. I played two years of college volleyball and after graduation, I continued my degree online through Grand Canyon University where I received a Bachelor's in Applied Management. I received my Masters in Secondary Education at the College of Education through Grand Canyon University.

I am assistant volleyball coach for the Goodridge-Grygla Chargers along with co-advisor of Peer Helpers, Student Council, and the freshman class advisor.

I live outside of Goodridge with my husband, Brandon Bakken, along with our two dogs, Scout and Ivy and our two cats, Leo and Iris. I am excited for a great year!

THE BULL PEN

The Bull Pen will be open during sporting events as they occur. Some Bull Pen items are featured at the Grygla Co-op for the community to view and purchase.

During the school year, the Business 101 class will be working to change out items featured and provide the community with new items as they come in.

The Bull Pen is located in the Grygla High School next to the office. We expanded our clothing selection and created a space for our senior high students to hang out at during lunch.

We currently have t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, long-sleeve t-shirts, flannels, joggers, blankets, stocking hats, baseball caps, towels, and infant/toddler clothing! We are always open to ideas and suggestions that you may have. Check us out at our Facebook group where we post most of our clothing items for sale.

My open office hours are 7:45-3:45 Monday-Friday. During this time I will schedule meetings as needed and be able to check my emails. If you need to meet with me, please email me to schedule a date and time.
