This fall, voters across the state will get a chance to vote on a statewide constitutional amendment to modernize the handling and distribution of dollars to the Permanent School Trust. This is on the ballot due to the work of legislators from both parties, who passed this with strong bipartisan support. It is now up to voters. It could mean up to an additional 30-35 dollars per pupil unit at our school from the fund.
A yes vote will NOT impact your tax bill in any way, shape, or form.
Please keep in mind this is entirely separate from our local STBRA question.
