Wearing your mask is very important, as you are protecting yourself and others from COVID-19. So if I wear my face covering to protect you from me, and you wear your face covering to protect me from you, then it decreases the risk of getting the Coronavirus. Even if you don’t think you’re at high risk for contracting COVID-19, many others are; therefore we need to protect others. This includes the ederly, people with type 2 diabetes, serious heart diseases, severe obesity, and so many other types of conditions. There are millions of people out there with these conditions; therefore we need to do our best as a society and protect those around us.
If you see someone at school, work, in stores, without masks, do your best to remind them how important it is to wear one! Although there are people out there with conditions such as asthma, which make it really hard to breathe with a mask on, adjust accordingly. Remember to always try to stay 6 feet away from people, wash your hands regularly, and stay home if you get any symptoms!
