Update 3/31/20 8:45 a.m. "Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you." ~Walt Whitman Good morning everyone! I just wanted to check in quick to see how everyone did with the first day of Distance Learning. We had a few minor problems with the technology to start with, but they were mostly ironed out pretty quickly. If you are experiencing problems, please let your teacher, Mr. Gieseke or me know. The staff has worked hard to make sure our kids have all the resources our kids need, so if you're having problems, please let us know. We are here to help and want to make this as successful as possible, knowing there are some challenges that we face. Keep the sunshine in your face today and know that we will work together until things are back to the way they're supposed to be! Have a great day everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Just a couple of quick reminders/updates:
Classroom material delivery will happen this afternoon on the regular PM bus routes. Please expect the drop off close to your child’s normal drop off time. 7-12 grade students might not have any materials dropped off because they will be mainly online. K-6 student materials will be at the teacher’s discretion. Please understand the drivers will do their best to be close to those times, but because some parents have already picked up their materials, the times will be off slightly.
The next material drop off will be on Tuesday, April 14th, following the Shelter in Place order.
Distance Education begins on Monday, March 30th. All of the information you and your student will need can be found by clicking on the “Distance Learning Information” tab on the school website, found at http://www.grygla.k12.mn.us
During the 2 week shutdown from Friday, March 27th to Friday, April 10th, if you attempt to contact the school and there is no answer, please call me at 701-741-4102.There may be periods of time where nobody will be at the school.

This could change depending on the situation. 4. Teachers will not be in the building during the 2 week Shelter in Place time period 5. This will not affect our distance education plans 6.
